3Square acquired 711 Grand in Glenwood Springs, Colorado in the summer of 2013. 711 Grand is a 6,000 square foot former bowling alley built in 1952, which is located in the historic downtown area of Glenwood Springs. Prior to 3Square’s acquisition of the property, 711 Grand housed a tattoo parlor and a drug rehabilitation clinic but has sat vacant since 2008. 3Square is working with the City of Glenwood Springs and the Downtown Development Authority to redevelop the building into two restaurants to add to the growing food scene in downtown Glenwood Springs. One of 3Square’s restaurant partners, The Lost Cajun, has signed a lease to make the 1,800 square foot space a prototype for the roll out of their national franchising campaign. The Lost Cajun opened in May of 2014. 3Square has also partnered with Smoke Modern Barbeque, a well-established restaurant in the Roaring Fork Valley, to have a second location in the remaining 4,200 square foot space. Smoke Modern Barbeque opened in September of 2014.
